Bromley Community Arts Theatre are back!  Following the success of last years critically aclaimed production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream", BCAT are delighted to present to you one of the nation's favourite stories, "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens.   You can purchase your tickets here!

A sterling cast of local performers bring to life a unique, powerful stage version of this much-loved tale.  From Pip, alone on the windswept marshes, to the haunted darkness of Miss Havisham's cobweb-strewn lair, Bromley Community Arts Theatre's inventive and atmospheric adaptation brings to thrilling theatrical life this classic exploration of childhood terrors and hopes - and adult dreams and regrets.

Our production is directed by two of the Borough's most experienced director/performers, Pauline Armour & Mair Lloyd-Roberts, and forms the centre-piece of the Bromley Arts Festival.  This skilful handling of this text can be seen in Bromley's most beautiful of settings: The Amphitheatre, Church House Gardens, Bromley (located behind the Churchill Theatre and accessed from the High Street).

We encourage you all to come along and picnic before the performances from 6.30pm and listen to some music from local bands, solo singers and instrumentalists.  This will get you in the mood for our atmospheric production of "Great Expectations" at 7.30pm.  Tickets are only £10 for adults and £5 for children - making this an exciting, affordable family-friendly night of entertainment.  Buy your tickets before we sell out by clicking here.

You are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets with you for warmth and comfort throughout the production, or you can sit directly on the Amphitheatre ground if you prefer.

A licensed bar (cash only) will be available before the performance and during the interval.  Toilet facilities will be located nearby and the venue is fully accessible.
